[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The quality is not very good. The buttons can turn on easier than they should. There low level is still very high and does t just keep things warm.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello, Thank you for your review. We regret to hear that your Cooktop is not living up to your standards. If your natural gas cooktop has excessively tall or yellow flames, investigate these potential causes: 1. Installation/Conversion Error The most common cause is incorrect installation or conversion. Problem: Cooktops are factory-set for low-pressure Natural Gas (NG). If the unit was intended for Liquefied Petroleum (LP) gas but mistakenly left connected to NG, the NG will be delivered at an improper, high pressure for the existing NG orifices. This results in flames that are too tall, yellow (incomplete combustion), and cause excessive heat/scorching. Action: A qualified technician must verify the unit is correctly configured for Natural Gas. 2. Clogged Burner Ports Obstructions in the small gas distribution holes (ports) cause uneven flow. Symptom: Uneven gas distribution leads to some flames being too high/yellow, while others are low or out. Cleaning: Gently clean ports with a small, rigid tool (straight pin, fine needle, wire). Restrictions: Do not use wooden toothpicks (they can break off and block the port). Do not clean components in a dishwasher. Do not enlarge, scrape, or alter the original size/shape of the port holes. 3. Improper Burner Cap Seating The burner cap must be positioned correctly on the burner base. Requirement: The cap must be firmly and correctly seated. Misalignment prevents proper gas/air mixing, causing poor ignition, flickering, and uneven, high flames. Check: Ensure the correct cap is on its matching base (components are not interchangeable). When correctly seated, the cap should fit flush with minimal movement. Maintenance: Always use the cap when operating the burner. Routinely clean the cap, especially the underside, to maintain an even, blue flame and efficient combustion. Range LP Gas Burner Flame Too High: Causes and Fixes
An excessively high LP (propane) gas burner flame signals a problem requiring attention, starting with verifying proper propane conversion.
Common Causes and Solutions: Clogged Burner Port: Debris partially blocks the small gas holes, distorting the flame. Fix: Clean ports carefully with a straight pin, needle, or small gauge wire. Precautions: DO NOT use a wooden toothpick, wash in a dishwasher, or attempt to enlarge the ports. Improper Burner Cap Positioning: The cap is not correctly seated or aligned. Fix: Ensure the correct cap is flush, centered, and aligned on the burner base with minimal movement. Clean the underside of the cap and base routinely. Improper LP Gas Conversion (Critical): If the flame remains too high after cleaning and adjustment, the appliance may have been incorrectly converted from natural gas to LP. Fix: Immediate professional service is required for safety. Flame Height Adjustment: A proper LP flame is soft blue with slightly visible yellow tips. If color is off, or the height is generally incorrect, a fine-tuning may be needed. Fix: Consult installation instructions to locate and adjust the flame height screws/knobs, but only after cleaning and cap positioning are verified.
