Very attractive with least bothersome grates.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did lots of comparison shopping to replace a 1955 Tappan stainless cooktop. Mostly I was concerned with the look. My old cooktop was very low profile and sleek. The new cooktops have high profile grates that I am not in love with. The Whirlpool stainless was the most attractive of all brands. Once it was installed I knew I made the right choice. It looks great and works well. The stainless knobs look terrific.

knobs melt- poor quality

Knob melt from heat of stove top. Not durable or a quality product. Reached out to Whirlpool and the cost of a replacement knob is excessive and they did not stand by their product. Not a happy customer.
