Great cooktop and easy to clean!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The gas cooktop has been great and it’s so easy to clean. My only complaint is that we were told to register the product to receive the griddle accessory and I haven’t received any confirmation or notice that we will actually be receiving it as this will be a big hit for breakfast with the family.

Not great - lowest quality

This came in our brand new home and the knobs melted within the first week. The flame and the knobs are too close and we have to pull our hands away quickly so we don't get burned. The grates sit higher than other brands as well resulting in longer cooking times.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sleek, modern looking and efficient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced my 15 year old Whirlpool cooktop with the EZ-2-Lift Hinged Cast Iron Grates model last week. I read a lot of reviews. The folks at the appliance store addressed my concerns and helped me to select this one. The design is sleek and modern and it fits very well in my kitchen over my oven. The grates are heavy but they lift easily and the stainless top cleans well with soap and water. The ignition on each burner is intact and responsive and I have noticed a big difference in the amount of time needed to cook. I rarely have to turn the flame beyond medium to low. Overall, very happy with my purchase and hope those who decide on this model are as well.

Flawed Design and materials

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am giving it a 3 because of the flawed design. It has an angled burner which leads to you pan over hanging above the knobs. That would have been ok if the knobs weren’t plastic. Mine are already warped. This item was included with the home I purchased and didn’t have a choice.

DON’T waste your MONEY..

Whirlpool, who knew it was this good?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was first hesitant about buying Whirlpool and I was also i hesitant about the hinged cooking grate, but I am happy to report it is easier to clean underneath the grates. It just lifts easily for no fuss cleaning. The components of the cooktop are good quality and doesn't feel lightweight or cheap. So all in all, I have no complaints. I have bought many brands over the years. Who knew that Whirlpool was this good? Not me.
I would recommend this to a friend!
