Insufficient Documentation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice unit, but documentation is far from suitable. A company is glad to accept 4K+ for an appliance, but is too cheap to produce a first class manual to match. I know that this is a bad trend, but what is provided to download outside of install and basic menus is extremely poor. You should be ashamed to leave an investor clueless on how to use accessories for the air fryer and how would you accomplish making use of that new feature.

We Are In Love!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In the world of ovens, this one takes the cake for appearance, ease of use, and versatility! Call me silly but I LOVE the look of the oven with the light on!! It's absolutely beautiful! (And the ovens match our KitchenAid refrigerator) It's likely that our small countertop air fryer will be donated to our kids now that we have larger air fryer capabilities with the lower oven, and having convection capabilities in both ovens was recently a big help for a dinner with guests. The Steam Cook is the only feature that we haven't tried yet, but that's coming soon:-)

Great features but missing my Convection Roast

I had a KitchenAid Microwave/oven 27" combo that needed replacing after 10 years. I especially liked that my prior KitchenAid had Convection Roast. Purchased this replacement in April and had to wait one month to receive it as it was backordered. When I got my new 27" combo, it had Air Fryer included. BUT, there is no longer a mode for Convection Roast and nothing in the on-line manual to indicate what to use instead of this mode. Also, there is no light in the microwave so you can't see what is happening inside. But I do like the rest of the features and the upgraded handles look great.

Very nice, seriously lacking manual

We've had our oven/microwave for about 2 months. It is beautiful and for basic functions has worked great so far, no issues. However, as many have said, there is a serious lack of information as to how to use, and as such I have barely learned how to use the functions that are new to me, such as convection and crisping in the microwave. The combination oven came with a few sheets of paper, none of which included information as to the various accessories that came with it. I visited the site, downloaded the 3 documents, and still was not able to determine what they were. Through YouTube and some other internet sleuthing (all non-KitchenAid sources) I finally figured out what they were - but not how to use. I finally discovered that there is in fact an entirely separate set of 3 documents for the microwave (which is also sold separately) that had some of the information that I needed. These documents are not available on the combo oven page, but only on the page where the microwave is sold separately. I did speak to customer service but didn't get much help had to figure this out on my own. Now, I have 6 separate PDFs for this unit, and yet, still don't have enough information. And when I want to figure something out, I have to flip back and forth between 6 different documents to search for information, and half the time I don't find it! It's absolutely crazy making. I am adept at using manuals to learn how to use appliances, it really isn't me. I have no idea why they can't include one comprehensive document to help us use the appliance we spent thousands on. KitchenAid has videos on YouTube, which also have almost no details on how to use, they really are more like ads and no help. It is truly bizarre, I just want to learn how to use my appliance!

The Oven-Microwave combo is Great
on April 3, 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been debating on buying this built in combo micro-oven for 2 years. I replaced a Viking double oven. I very happy I decided on KitchenAid. It is very well made. The only one thing I wish was different is that when the microwave timer goes off, the fan continues to run and you must hit the cancel button to stop the fan. I haven’t used the oven more than a few times so far and I have to get used to how it heats. I roasted asparagus at 400 and it came out perfect but when I baked Pillsbury biscuits following directions they came out dark. I was lucky I checked them early or they would have burned. But it takes time to get used to a new oven. I use the microwave every day and it’s great. I’m very happy with my purchase so far.

Love this combo

I have the earlier version of this combo that doesn’t air dry and is the 30”. I love this combo Going on 8 years of heavy use with my in home cottage cupcake and specialty cake business, and it doesn’t disappoint. And for the review that states they can’t use the microwave when the oven is in use, u use the touch controls on the upper left to operate the microwave

Like the blue interior of oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased oven two months ago and so far am happy with. One major problem we had with the purchase, it came with zero instructions on how to operate. Had to go between internet and you tube for operating procedure. Very annoying. Seems if you purchase an expensive product it should have basic operating instructions. What would happen if I didn’t have access to a computer? Comes with accessories with no clue what to do with them.
