BUY AT YOUR OWN HEALTH RISK

Do not buy this range, it has bad insulation in it and the smell will never go away. It is not inside the oven smell, but a smell that emits from around the range, even not not turned on, because the insulation is bad. I know this because this is the 2nd range from GE in 6 months to have this issue. I now have a different brand and it works great.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased this range in March 2024 to replace, essentially, the same GE range I had from 2012. The new model is definitely not as well made. It is a flimsier feel, less sturdy, the oven door itself doesn't have the same heft. The biggest issue is the smell. No matter how much I try to follow recommendations as to ridding the range of the smell when the oven is in use, it is still present. Also had a small rubber piece already pop out that I had to fix. Very disappointing
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Don’t buy this

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worst range ever. You can’t even turn it on without registering it with the dang app. The apps ok, BUT you can’t even operate this without registering it, seriously? What if you don’t have wifi … well then you don’t have a range that works.

This range can be operated without connecting to our SmartHQ app. Connecting your range is something we recommend, as it allows us to send out software updates and allow remote features. For example, you can preheat your oven from anywhere in the home, even change the oven temperature. If you are noticing any issues with the controls, we suggest trying an electronic reset. This can be done by unplugging the power cord for 2-3 minutes, then plugging it back in.

You can download an app and set up the cooking program through an app. No need to make a trip downstairs while baking. Also the oven area are designed to be as a storage aka tidy up your kitchen. Highly recommend this oven.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m planning to buy my second home and trying to buy the most fancy and good quality appliances, we are so familiar with this brand, and actually in our family home we have the same model but with the top in front, and we love it! Is has a great space in the oven and is so easy to clean. The top is made of glass and has very cute details of stainless steel. Great price for an amazing Range.
