Decline in Quality

I purchased this range in March 2024 to replace, essentially, the same GE range I had from 2012. The new model is definitely not as well made. It is a flimsier feel, less sturdy, the oven door itself doesn't have the same heft. The biggest issue is the smell. No matter how much I try to follow recommendations as to ridding the range of the smell when the oven is in use, it is still present. Also had a small rubber piece already pop out that I had to fix. Very disappointing
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

BUY AT YOUR OWN HEALTH RISK

Do not buy this range, it has bad insulation in it and the smell will never go away. It is not inside the oven smell, but a smell that emits from around the range, even not not turned on, because the insulation is bad. I know this because this is the 2nd range from GE in 6 months to have this issue. I now have a different brand and it works great.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sleek and inexpensive!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve recently been looking for a stove for my canning kitchen, and this stove has definitely fit the bill! The flat glass top is perfect for my canning pots, stock, pots, and my stove top pressure cooker. The stainless steel and black are so sleek, and it looks great next to my stainless steel refrigerator. The stove itself works great, and there are so many features, including Working the features through my phone! I feel like i’m in the future or some thing! This stove is also such a great size, it is not too big, so it fit right in the space I had for my old stove. It was also very inexpensive, compared to some of these other stoves out there. I’m definitely impressed and I’m looking forward to a long harvest and canning season with this beautiful range!

I love this stove!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The easy of being able to use my phone to set the oven is amazing. Im still learning the app but so far its awesome. The stove its self heats nice and quickly. I love that i can scan food barcodes and it helps set the oven and let me know what I need to do. Its only been a couple days but so far so good.
