I was surprised to find that a laptop with a high end processor was so lacking in I/O. The HDMI was only 1.4 so it didn't really support a 4k external monitor and the USB C port was essentially non functional as it too would not support an external monitor. I did order another unit that I believe will meet my needs. But I suggest you quit selling unit like the HP 17 Laptop PC 17-cn3097nr. Sell such meager units with less processor and at a much lower price so buyers don't get fooled into thinking they are getting a state of the art machine.
I am happy with my purchase. All of my pc purchases have been HP and I have been happy with every one. I wish the battery would last longer between charging sessions though. It only last for 60 to 80 minutes between charges - not very good for a brand new battery.
I was super excited to receive this and what I ended up getting was a super cheap feeling behemoth. Less and less features become available with each new model of HP. Plus no backlit keyboard? c’mon!
holyu crap is there a LOT of bloatware on your systems an the preinstalled antivirus is a virus itself that is difficult to remove. WHY DO THAT??? ABSOLUTELY THE WORST personal laptop system i've ever bought, which is really sad because I've had so much faith in HP IN YEARS PAST! So I'm wondering Why did this happen? I've known HP to be a marquee name brand that businesses and people talk about as easily the best, but I'm disapointed and i probably won't buy your brand again. I would suggest leaving out all the sales crap off your systems. I wasted an hour getting rid of it all. I was so frustrated that I seriously considered a complete erase ands format and make clean install. I haven't done so yet, but I still might.
It’s a good laptop. My only concern is how it’s a bit delayed in function. It takes longer to load than a new computer should. Other than that, it’s good
Navigating the function for screen lighting, clarity, and colors are difficult. Set up was not plug and play. I thought it was. I had to search the web for help fine tuning or working good. Many pre-sets for connecting to the web, changing the default for apps such as gmail were not easy to locate. Getting started with this new laptop was much more difficult and time consuming than it was my for my Slim HP with Intel COREi5. The quality of the video is better, it is faster, and easier to maneuver through settings. Not perfect but is much easier than my new laptop. Im sure someone with more computer skills than me could improve my experience. I like the look and size of the laptop. It is great. The price was very good. Power cord could be another foot longer. Way too many ads. Hard to delete them without going through a lot of delete features. I know that's not necessarily an HP problem but all these problems could be and should be placed into an easy to read and follow instruction guide.
