[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really hate the smell when I use the oven. Can’t wait until it doesn’t smell anymore.

Hello, We value your time and would like to look into the concerns with your Gas Range. Please see the following troubleshooting. 1. Oven Door and Safety Interlocks Check: Is the oven door fully closed and latched? Ensure the door is completely closed and sealed. Safety mechanisms deactivate heat/gas if the door is ajar (e.g., during broiling). Check the door gasket. 2. Obstructions on the Oven Bottom Check: Is the oven floor covered with foil or a liner? Remove all liners or foil. This can disrupt air/gas flow or interfere with temperature sensors/elements, causing failure to heat. 3. Interference from Storage/Broiler Drawer Check: Are items in the drawer interfering with internal components (gas lines, wiring, igniter assembly)? Empty the drawer completely. Inspect to ensure no items are obstructing or damaging internal gas or electrical parts. 4. The Oven-Specific Gas Shut-Off Valve (Gas Models Only) Check: Is the oven-specific shut-off lever on the gas Pressure Regulator in the "ON" position? Locate the regulator (often at the back/bottom) and ensure the small lever dedicated to the oven gas line is securely ON. This valve is separate from the main supply and can stop gas flow only to the oven. 5. Main Gas Supply Verification (Gas Models Only) Check: Is the main range gas valve fully open? Has air entered the line? Confirm the main supply valve (behind the range) is fully ON. If recently moved, light a surface burner for a minute to purge air, then re-test the oven. Consult Installation Instructions. 6. Electrical Power and Grounding Check: Is the unit securely plugged into a grounded, functional outlet? Ensure the cord is firmly plugged into a 120V AC, three-prong grounded outlet. Do not use adapters or extension cords; proper grounding is essential for igniter function (no click means no proper spark/heat). Test the outlet with a small appliance. If the outlet is faulty or ungrounded, contact an electrician.
