It has been 21 years since my last range, and I don't remember the whole range, top,sides,and the panel where the knobs/controls gets hot. Maybe it is just because it's new and the other one was just wore out. Still learning how to fully operate all functions.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When my old range died, I went out looking for a replacement Keeping in mind that tariffs were in effect, so I was looking for an American made product. I liked the looks of the Whirlpool electric range. I am also impressed with the steam clean oven feature. With the glass cooktop I no longer need to buy burner pans. Another feature I like is that the two larger heating surfaces are in front and are dual element, so if I don't need the larger heat surface I'm not putting extra heat into the kitchen.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Don’t buy it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Drawer did not shut evenly…scratch on control panel…first time stovetop was used there were marks we could not clean off…the “stainless steel” pieces were different colors
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great product
