Great Features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought this a month ago and I’m so glad I did because it cooks wonderfully. The oven reaches the desired temperature in a timely manner and evenly cooks the food. The flat top is a pleasure to use and it alerts you that the cooktop is hot until it cools down completely. Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to make a quick decision about a new stove when my coil-burner stove dramatically died. Figured hey, maybe it’s time to switch to one of those newfangled glass tops! (Yes I know, they’ve been around for decades :).) Short story: I hated it at first because the learning curve was steep. Set off the smoke detector my first try, that radiant heat is HOT, and takes longer to cool down than a coil burner. Also, the control panel has annoying bugs. You can’t see the oven temp and the timer at the same time, when you set the timer you have to RESET the oven temp or it defaults to 350. Tell that to my undercooked chicken :(. Also, you have to set the timer for a minute longer than you need, because when it starts it bumps down a minute! I know these things sound annoying, but here’s the good part. Within days, I started LOVING this stove, quirks and all. (Just use a backup timer when you bake, I use my microwave timer.) It cooks beautifully, evenly, accurately, both the stovetop and the oven. I am also finding it way easier to keep clean than I had heard, just a squirt of Weiman’s spray for normal cleaning, Barkeepers Friend Stovetop for tougher gunk. So far, the black shiny top looks gorgeous, like new. Love!

A nice upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this range. I do have an issue with the surface top of the range. When a spill occurs it is difficult to get some of the stains out. What is recommended for cleaning? I have used a Mr. Clean eraser, window cleaner, Dawn Power Wash. I have not used an abrasive sponge. If there is a product that cleans a stain and/or spill can you please advise?

Decent Range, but bad install.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Moving into a new home, where install was performed by whirlpool. Gasket was misinstalled, and the plate that screws down is screwed in sideways. Cannot fix, cannot reset the gasket. Oven doesn't hold temp.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased bc my last whirlpool replacement parts and labor made it the smarter choice. I did not receive a book on how to use with the appliance. I thought I would like the dual heat units but the small is too small for my pans and the large too large. The knobs make it hard to regulate the temperature guessing where medium truly is. Tried to broil a steak and finally discovered you had to close the door for the broiler to work. Again I had no book to read and learn this.
