Poor workmanship

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, the range works well - after I finally get used to the fact that I have to press "start" for every function. The glass top seems to not scratch very easily. But I am disappointed with the workmanship. After unpacking, we realized that the black sealer around the glass top was smeared and missing on an approx. 3" area. Really didn't want to haul it back, so had to repair it ourselves. The inner seal around the oven door came loose and it was difficult to get the bent clip back into the hole to reconnect it. The oven door closes tight on one side and is further away on the other, with a little heat leakage. We will just leave that because it looks like it is just made that way. Accept it I guess.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good Basic Model

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this model because my previous Electrolux stove had multiple electrical problems resulting in a fire in the control circuit. I have purchased Whirlpool products in the past so I trust the name and quality of the brand. The stove fits nice, has extra room in the oven and storage drawer and controls are easy to use. As for the build, it is standard with most products. Robust and heavy are not the norm of most home appliances these days.
I would recommend this to a friend!
