Good, app needs work and no timer

Cleans fairly well but when it's not operating and just floating bugs leave the basket back into the water. Also, make sure you stop it because otherwise it will just run until the battery is finished
I would recommend this to a friend!

Could have been great

The unit works well, gets stuck at the skimmer once in a while, charges nicely with the sun. BUT it has 2 flaws ... 1 - once you start it it just keeps going on and on... there should be timer you can set. If you forget you turned it on it will just keep going but this can be introduced a software update. The second is a showstopper; if you stop the unit from your phone say and keep it floating on your pool to turn on later, all the stuff it caught start coming back out as there is not a flap or anything to keep the debris in the basket. My unit ran for 8hrs! (See point #1) I stopped it, came back later and 80% of all the bugs and debris it caught were floating around the unit again!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This robot works great! Love it! The App is another story, it does not work...tried troubleshooting but no success. I could only get the app to work on day 1. I gave up.

Disappointed once again

My fault for thinking that my first Aiper pool skimmer was faulty and I just had bad luck. This one is seriously as stupid as the last one. I have run it 3 times now and for the first day (In my rectangular pool I might add) it avoided smashing into the pool coping (edge of the pool) it slowed and turned 90 degrees and went on its merry way. Not for long... its now all bashed up from running and grinding into and out of the pool corners. Still technically works just a terribly designed product and if I could, I would return it.
