Light bleed

The TV is pretty good, but the light bleed is crazy!

Thank you for purchasing the new Samsung DU8000 TV and for providing us with feedback on the picture quality. I have a few troubleshooting steps for you to try that may resolve any image issues you are seeing.

First, let's run a picture test to ensure it is not a connected device or app you are using that is causing the issue. Go to Home> Left directional button> Settings> Support> Device Care> Self Diagnosis> Picture Test.

Next, there are several picture settings available, allowing you to adjust the image, including Picture Mode, Contrast, Brightness, and Sharpness settings. Go to Settings> All Settings> Picture.

Mystery line

Had to return after 24hrs. There is this thin colored line that appears down along the right side of the screen . Nice picture but the line is annoying.

Thank you for your purchase and for the video of the image issues you are having with your new DU8000 TV. I have put a few troubleshooting steps for you to try before calling Customer Support for a warranty appointment.

First, if you have any cables connected to your TV, please double-check that they are securely inserted.

Next, there are energy efficiency features designed to reduce power consumption that may be causing the flickering. Go to Settings > All Settings> General > Power and Energy Saving > and adjust the Brightness Optimization, Brightness Reduction, and Motion Lighting.

Finally, I recommend running a picture test to ensure it is the TV, not the program source. Go to Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great tv . Just few things that need fixing. The edge lit screen makes some white fading in . Processor is fast and gaming hub is awesome! Sound is great may want a soundbar to sync with tv.

Please know there are many settings available on your TV that allow you to adjust your screen to fit what you are watching.

You can go to Home > Settings > All Settings> Picture > Expert Settings and configure the TV settings to your taste with functions such as Brightness, Contrast, Sharpness, Color, Tint (G/R), and many more. Or use our preset picture modes to easily change the settings. Go to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Picture Mode.
