[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The microwave works very well and offers a variety of functions, such as cook, reheat, defrost etc. However it really needs a backlit key pad. As an “elderly” adult I find it hard to read the key pad because it is dark. Also, the charcoal filter will be difficult for my arthritic fingers to remove and replace- think that a better design would be possible. For those reasons I’ve given it a 3 star rating.

Beautiful and modern

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the look of this fingerprint resistant stainless steel microwave. The inside is really easy to wipe down. I like that there is not a lot of nooks and crannies for crumbs and food to build up in. For the most part it's one even surface layer on the inside. The keypad is pretty standard and very user friendly. It heats up our food very well. Almost too well compared to our last microwave. The black part of the front does need wiping down because it will show fingerprints and grease/ food. We love the look and performance of this microwave so much. It inspired us to buy the Maytag refrigerator, stove and dishwasher to match. A big thank you to Influenster and Maytag for sending us this microwave and exchange for our honest feedback.

Great upgrade!

One thing to note with this microwave - installation isn’t the easiest if your current setup is not against a wall. We had to do a lot of adjusting in order to get it hung. But once it was installed, it’s worked wonderfully. Huge improvement over our previous one!

Great microwave

The unit itself is sleek but a good size. Other than looks, it works as a normal microwave but with an inside coating so it’s super easy to wipe down.

Non stick inside, warms up food efficiently

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a 1800watt Maytag branded microwave that is similar to the Whirlpool microwave I had before. Both are manufactured by Whirlpool. This microwave has worked well, but has a few differences that I dislike. It has less features like no rack inside, you can't deactivate the turn table, and there are less preset buttons. All of those are things I rarely use, but worth mentioning. The specific reason I would not choose this model is because the buzzer sounds like a 90s alarm clock, and my previous microwave had a melody. Also, neither model has a great exhaust fan. But it does have an easy to clean nonstick interior. Overall the microwave is better than average.
