Great design and features

I love this appliance. The capacity is great and so is the digital technology controls. It's a contemporary design and good looking in my kitchen. It took the installer all of 15 minutes to pull out my old oven and install this one. The double ovens are so convenient for Thanksgiving cooking as well as baking large quantities of desserts. My only complaint is that it smokes sometimes. Not sure why that is happening. But, I end up burning a candle to get the odor out of the kitchen.

Great oven, two disadvantages

Pretty good oven. It replaced the same general format which lasted over 25 years. We liked that model so much we went for the same one again but updated. Two issues noted with the new model:
1. Oven requires you to connect it to the internet the first time you try to use air fry. Otherwise, impossible to use this function. Why? What info is the oven feeding back, and to whom? I don’t use the app to work the oven and this seems an egregious misuse of my information without explanation.
2. Much slower to preheat that the previous model.

Otherwise, pretty good oven overall and we are very happy.

I honestly love my new 27" GE Electric Double Wall Ovens. The install went without a hitch, the control panel is sleek and easy to use, the interiors are nice and large, the ovens are quiet during baking/broiling, and cool down.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Omg! Love this oven! The size is perfect and looks fabulous. Controls are easy to navigate. So excited to use the air fry feature. Can’t wait to start baking! It’s a GE so I know it will perform perfectly.

My new ovens were just installed about an hour ago. I can't speak to longevity or use, but installation went well and connecting the ovens to my phone was pretty simple. I'm old, and not very tech savvy, so that's saying something. I'm looking forward to using them - hopefully for a very long time

A disappointment

The oven looks beautiful in the wall, but it is inefficient, and takes longer to bake anything than my previous oven that it replaced. I had a similar older model which cooked quickly and efficiently. The convection bake feature was excellent and baked more quickly than this model. This model takes longer to heat, takes longer to cook anything, and forces hot air into my kitchen during the entire baking time and up to an hour afterwards. I used to bake all summer, but now cannot because of the blower that cannot be turned off. I get anxious when I have to use this oven because I know it will not cook as I wish, and have bought another appliance to use so I don't have to use the wall oven.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works like a great oven should

So far so great! This was installed a week and a half ago to replace a old wall oven set that sometimes had to be turned off at the breaker and hadn’t had a working digital display in years…..so we are delighted with this working and none fussy digital display, accurate working oven temperatures, browning convection roasting, bright oven light, and traditional oven racks that are easy to move. We would definitely purchase this set again based on our experience so far.
I would recommend this to a friend!
