Seems to work well... still with a purchased 5 yr warranty I may be less concerend. There was rust on the inside edges.., probably from the shipping container when shipped to the US. All seemed ok.
It was easy to start using. I haven't tried the convection or the lower oven. But the top one is great. I do agree the buzzer needs to be louder. But so far I love the rest of it. Wish I would have replaced my old one earlier.
So happy with our new GE built-in double oven! It cooks evenly, is easy to use, and has so many features that I look forward to increasing my time in the kitchen! The oven we replaced was also a GE product and was 25 years old! We look forward to many years of use with our new oven!
We replaced an old GE double oven because the bottom oven stopped working. The new one was supposed to fit into the sam cabinet opening but it was off by just a little so we had to modify the cabinet. Fortunately it was easy and we could do it, but the installers would not change the cabinet and we would had to call in a third party if it was beyond our skills. Be careful about buying this from a big box or major chain, they often hire third party installers and won't do anything if it does not fit the existing opening. The oven is ok, it takes a long time to heat up and cooking is not uniform even in convection mode. It browns in the back faster than the front and broil is also uneven. The warm and proof features are nice and it is fine for baking bread and pizza. It performs about the same or a little worse than the old oven. Not really worth the money but we did not have choice, it was either buy this or redo the cabinet for a larger oven. There were just not many options in this size and we thought it would be a drop-in replacement.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love this double wall oven. The top is convection and bottom is traditional. I don’t use the convection often, but wanted it should the need arise. One rack has a sliding feature which is beneficial. Oven lights are really bright so i. An check on the food without opening the door. It preheats quickly and I love having it connected to my iPhone so I can preheat the oven on my way home, or set a cook time before leaving.
This double oven is replacing my GE Profile double oven which I have had for years. I love the fact that the oven capacity is larger even though it fits into the same size opening. The coating on the racks and oven interior will make clean up much easier. I did a LOT of research before choosing this oven and I do not expect to be disappointed in it's quality and durability. I am struggling with the WiFi setup but I have not yet called the help desk.
We had to replace a 26 year old Double Wall Oven and did a lot of research and read many reviews. We chose the GE Double Wall Oven and do not regret the decision. The oven is easy to use and with the fan and convection cooking it does a wonderful job of holding temp and giving us perfectly cooked food. Our one wish is that the timer signal was louder since it is difficult to hear in a busy household and for older people in their 70’s like my wife and I. We highly recommend this product.
