I miss my dumb oven

Got this oven as a surprise. I HATE it. Touch screen only with no buttons--easier to break and harder to use. What is the point of a smart ove ? Why do I have to have to connect to WiFi to use an airfrier? Bells and whistles built in just so they can break easier and be replaced sooner. Installers hauled our old oven away, or I would return this monstrosity. I want my old "dumb" oven back. Looks like that isn't an option with any GE products. Shame on you, GE.

We'd like to provide some information about the No Preheat Air Fry feature. No Preheat Air Fry does not require you to connect to Wi-FI to use the feature after you add it to your cooking modes. However, if your appliance stays connected to Wi-Fi, it will automatically update the feature over time once new versions become available.

We'd like to assist with this issue you're having with your wall oven not turning on. We recommend disconnecting the wall oven from power for a couple of minutes before reconnecting, to reset it.

Perfect Drop-In Replacement

My biggest worry going into this purchase was whether it would fit into the existing cabinet cutout without needing any modifications—I've heard horror stories about people having to hire carpenters to resize cabinets or deal with awkward gaps.
Thankfully, this model was a true drop-in replacement. We measured carefully (the cutout was the standard 30-inch width), removed the old oven (which was a bit heavy but manageable with two people), slid the new one right in, and secured it—no trimming, no shimming, no adjustments to the cabinets at all. It fit like a glove, with just the right overlap on the flanges for a clean, flush look. The whole swap took under an hour, and we didn't even need professional help.
Beyond the easy install, the oven itself performs fantastically: even baking, quick preheating, and plenty of features like convection mode that make cooking a breeze. If you're replacing an older wall oven and want to avoid renovation headaches, this is the one to get. Highly recommend!
