Oven is Probably okay

The fact that you aren’t supposed to use a thermometer in the oven yet are instructed to adjust the temp settings has me quite confused. The timer is nonexistent, the technician who installed it has now ordered a new control board which is back ordered for 3 weeks and GE will not provide any specs as to the decibel level to be expected.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The oven takes forever to heat up. Once it does, it cooks pretty fast. When baking, the top gets more done than the bottom. The coating on the grates is coming off and I have had it less than a month.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Terrible convection feature

The fan and motor during convention mode is extremely loud; when it is in convection mode it sounds like it is an old oven functioning with a broken part. This happened during the first use of the oven and has since.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Had this oven for almost a month, everything I’ve made came out great, makes me want to bake more. It’s easy to use, and cooks so much cleaner and more evenly than my old gas oven. Love the gliding shelf feature.

I love my new oven! We've only had it a few weeks and haven't used all the features but so far so good. Everything bakes or roasts beautifully and evenly. No complaints at all. The convection fan isn't overly loud and that's a plus. All in all I'm completely satisfied with my new toy!
