“Smart” feature is dangerous! Never again.

I’ve had this oven for only two years. Only used the smart features through the SmartHQ app twice. This second time, oven working perfectly, heating up food, then I used app from another part of the house just to set a timer. It forced an update (not just an app update but an oven update) which they proceeded to break my user interface! Now my oven is useless unless I put hundreds of $$ into it. The whole right side of the controls (number pad) won’t work at all. And yes I did a hard reset. Still won’t work. Clock and left side options work fine. But since I can’t select any numbers, I can’t choose a temp, I can’t set time, I can’t select option numbers. It won’t do anything at all now. It is garbage, all because of the app which I didn’t really like using anyway!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We recommend resetting your wall oven by disconnecting power from the unit for 2 - 3 minutes and reconnecting power. If this reset does not revert the unit back to normal operating function, this will require service by a qualified technician. Overly complicated options, too many to be honest

We have only had this unit for about 2 weeks, not nearly long enough to rate this appliance, they send these reviews out way to soon, before they get a chance to break or for the user to really use it. It hard to locate where to touch the screen to make it come on to allow you to set it. We typically just open the door & that illuminates the control panel , bad engineering, you should be able touch anywhere to illuminate the touch screen.

Product is good , heats up fast and easy to use. Deducted one star because of a tiny scuff which isn’t worth asking a replacement for.

Not fit the spot where I has an older model of GE oven. pre-heat takes forever. Not even baking. waste of money and time

Don’t buy

I bought 2 of these wall ovens. I ran a clean cycle and it’s now completely wrecked. Service repair person thinks all the wires are fried and the motor is shot. 2 years old used a few dozen times at best.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Have a problem with oven bell, have GE servcoming

Product appears to be good, however having problem with timer bell can't be heard and can't increase the level.
