Great processor!

I'm not your typical user; I use my computer for 3D CAD and statistical modelling of large data sets. I bought this CPU to replace a Ryzen 5 2600 processor that was close to 7 1/2 years old, and still working as it should. I have to say, I'm impressed! During the stress test, the processor never got warmer than 65C and cooled back to under 40C within a minute or so; this in a fan cooled system. I run timers on my simulations, and I am seeing a 40% reduction in processing time to run 1000 model simulations. The fans are also a lot quieter, not needing to run at full speed during stats modelling or when working on large SolidWorks models.
If you want to squeeze the last little bit out of your system economically without having to make the jump to an AM5 socket processor (along with a new motherboard, new ram, and a new drive), I'd recommend a 5700 series AMD processor. I'm running mine on a B350 board without an issue.
I would recommend this to a friend!
