Very very poor picture quality.

We have had this model printer for 2 months and are very dis-satisfied with the quality of pictures. Hard to even recognize any details to pictures. We will never purchase Canon products again. Tones are very very dull!
Cons: Dull Tones & Colors

had this for 2yrs an 7 months... no problems would like a wire-less model....I print brochers, pictures, news letters, ect. have gone thru 14 reams of paper so far.. just a little over spray inside the cabinate...
Pros: price
Cons: non-wireless

wont print from laptop

After following instructions and fire wall change instructions and still can not print from laptop. It will print wirelessly from pc connected to router or if laptop is connected to router with ethernet cable and printer is wireless. Big pain can't connect both printer and pc wirelessly.
Cons: Difficult to use, Difficult Setup, unreliable, can't connect both printer and pc wirelessly

Microsoft = Viruses, malware, spyware, trojans, and worms (good for business/bad for people)
Linux=6years running without a hitch (we will not build our system around a canon printer....sorry)
Pros: it's cheap
Cons: unreliable, no linux support

Hello peoples! I wanted to say thank you Cannon for your Product and Quality and Service. I lost my installation disk and switched my printer to another pc and researched I can download it straight off the net. BOOM! After 1 hour and 30 minutes I was able to find my printer and download the MP Drivers and XPS printer. MUCHO THANKS!

Decent enough

I don't know why so many people have trouble using the Wi-Fi feature. I installed this printer about 6 months ago and since then I have never once had to plug the USB in or had problems with the Wi-Fi. Maybe I got lucky? Anyway, for me this printer does exactly what I expected. The printing of color pictures (such as from websites, on regular paper) isn't extremely high quality but I didn't expect it to be for the price. I'm happy with this printer and use it often.

Good luck, it won't load the paper correctly so you have to feed and push thru at the exact time it's pulling in to get it to print.
