Thermacell Patio Shield

Works where nothing else has. I have tried Sprays, Candles, Citronella, Wrist bands, LOL The Patio Shield is the only thing that works!!! I am now going to buy the personal one to carry with me camping and hunting.

Wind eliminates much of any potential effectivenes

Mine was a gift. Am new to mosquito land and being eaten alive. Was hoping for more. Not enough for an area where a fan is needed to survive the heat to sit outside.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thanks for your review. In breezy weather, place the unit upwind of your location so that the repellent is carried by the wind into the area you want to protect. Thermacell may be less effective on very windy days, although mosquitoes aren't typically out when it is very windy.

Keeps the Bugs Away and Love this Color!

I bought the patio shield when we moved into our new home this summer as the mosquitoes were horrific. I specifically bought from the Thermacell website because they had a warranty. I was so pleasantly surprised and loved being able to eat outside on our new deck and relax with family and friends. I will say that sitting the shield outside about 15 minutes before going outside myself creates the ideal protection. So thankful for this product!

Received as a gift and enjoying my porch again. Easy to use (the info band around a great idea!), aesthetically pleasing and the fact that it is weather resistant is an important factor since I live in humid state of Florida.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought on a slim chance

I can’t say enough about these products. I purchased several different styles of these repellants. We had a trip planned for the North woods of WI and wanted to be able to enjoy outside with layering my skin with chemicals. I really didn’t think they would work, boy was I proven wrong. After the first night our family dubbed the protected area as “The circle of trust”. As long as you were in the radius of the Thermacells no flying bugs of any kind. Walk away from the circle of trust, you were fair game for the war of human and mosquito. The mosquitos were out almost all day, so the circle of trust or a single unit would travel from cabin to cabin, while on a walk or fishing from the pier. I did purchase twice as many as recommended for a 40 square foot area. We had 17 in our group for that week in WI. Not one bite on anyone as long as they were near a Thermacel unit. They REALLY WORK!

Lite it up and enjoy

I Purchased a patio Thermacell after my Wife saw how long it worked at my neighbors house. I have had mine a year now and just bought a whole bunch of refills. This Year I bought my son with one, For the patio at his apartment. His future in-laws saw it and now they are ordering one. I use it not only on the patio but when I am washing or polishing my vehicles keeps the mosquitoes away.
