This is the 3rd Thermacell product I've purchased. The mosquitoes have been horrendous this year. I've spent most evenings and weekends outside rebuilding a boat this summer. My choices were spraying myself with stinky stuff or using the Thermacells. It was a no brainer. I place 2 units - one on each end of my work area and am able to work until dark rarely ever seeing one of those nasty buggers.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Don't waste your money, too expensive for nothing

Bought for our backyard patio, does nothing to keep mosquitoes away from me at all.

1) Please ensure you see a small light through the view hole to ensure the device is on.
2) If your device will not turn on, please let the fuel flow for 2 minutes without pressing start. This can purge any dust or debris that may have settled inside of the device.

Hooray Keeping those bugs away

I purchased this a month ago because so many flying insects eating me alive and nothing but that horrible bug spray would keep them away. Since I am not a fan of using bug spray I opted for this. FANTASTIC SO GLAD I DID! My patio faces the woods and this works beautifully

Finally . . .

After 27 years, I can finally enjoy my flower-filled front porch without covering yself with all that yucky, spray-on stuff! This works great and I also bought the MR-450 portable unit to use while working around the entire yard, but mostly in the back, where there seems to be a mosquito hatchery!! Highly recommend and the light scent not only is more than bearable, but gives an unobtrusive reminder that it's hard at work!

Amazing Results!

I live in the Texas Hill Country outside Austin. I have a beautiful home with a huge porch that I could never enjoy because of all the mosquitos and other similar nuisance bugs. I saw this product demonstrated on The Today Show and could not resist trying it. I am AMAZED at how easy it is to use and how well it works! I have been out on my porch for morning coffee, an evening glass of wine, even dinner. All totally bug free! No smoke, no odor - it just works exactly as described. Best investment I could have made.

Love this..no more bites!!!

I got this during the winter and am just now using. It is excellent. I am a mosquito magnet and for the very first time in my life, I am able to enjoy my deck with my morning coffee and evening wine without being swarmed with nasty mosquitos or dousing myself with smelly chemicals. I have tried everything and this is the best solution. Thank you so much. I am ordering refills now.
