Bought 3 last spring, 2 still work...the other stopped igniting after using 3 times.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overall, I think this is a good product. It seemed to do the job. I just wish refills weren't as expensive.

Great coverage

I was pleasantly surprised at how well this worked.We put it in our backyard on our deck and the kids were outside on the swing set and the adults were just sitting down by the fire pit talking. And normally we have a lot of problems with the mosquitoes due to living in South Georgia with lots of lakes around us. And we did not have issues with mosquitoes at all. My grandson and I are both mosquito magnets and get a lot of bites when we are outside but using the thermocell has definitely helped us to not be eaten up. I am thankful that we were able to use this without having to spray harmful chemicals on our body.

The Non-citronella smell is great!

This repellent absolutely works as specified, without that annoying Citronella smell! I placed it on my small porch deck and immediately noticed that there were NO mosquitoes! It is way better than other repellents that uses smell, such as candles, to repellent pesky insects. The butane refills can get a little expensive, but it is completely worth it because it actually works! I have recommended it to all my friends and family.

This product is great. Living in the south these mosquitoes are terrible . This keeps them away and has no odor . very easy to at up and use .

I received mine about a week ago. The product worked great. We used it while sitting on the porch late at night. Not one mosquitoe bothered us. I will try again when we go camping, and update review.

Not Quite What We Expected But Will Try Again

I was really pumped to give this a try especially for my youngest who can't really enjoy the outdoors because he is a bit allergic to mosquitoes. We got it set up nice and high, made sure everything was done correct and that is stayed lit (which it did), once going it worked to take away a few mosquitoes but we were still getting bit up and could not really enjoy like we thought we'd be able to. The nights have been really cold and stormy so on the next nice evening we will give it another go, see what happens and maybe have a chance to update our score.
