Good Stuff

Bought this and used it for an outdoor gathering near our mosquito infested back yard - amazingly there were no incidents of mosquito attacks! Who would have thunk?

too expensive for the time it provides

It is very modest in terms of efficacy. It is fancy but does not protect a barrier as the ad mentions.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Before you reach out, we would suggest trying two things:
1) Please ensure you see a small light through the view hole to ensure the device is on.
2) If your device will not turn on, please let the fuel flow for 2 minutes without pressing start. This can purge any dust or debris that may have settled inside of the device.
If this doesn't solve the problem, please contact us.

Allows me to enjoy my patio

We just moved to Florida and are waiting to have the back patio and pool screened in to keep the mosquitos away. We thought that we couldn't enjoy the patio / pool until then. The Patio Shield made the difference and allowed us to enjoy our patio / pool right away. We just set up the Patio Shield on our patio table near the pool, take a dip in the pool and when we get out don't have to worry about being bugged by those nasty flying blood suckers. We're so happy we got the patio shield - it works great, easy to use and re-use, lights the first time every time and there is just a faint smell - enough to let you know it's working.

We used this on our back porch last weekend for the first time, where we are usually either reeking of bug spray or beyond eaten alive.
Nobody put on any bug spray because we wanted to see if this thing really works.... Well... After the first fifteen minutes or so, the mosquitos just went away... And they didn't come back!!! The only bites we had were the ones we got before we turned it on! It will definately be getting another one or two to space around our deck and cabana.!

Simply the best product out there.

I have used the Thermacell product for many years in the woods. Recommend it to everyone. Once the sceptics try it they are converted to fanatics! I like the convenience of the Patio shield. The ability to store extra pads inside is nice.

I can enjoy my backyard patio!

I've been using the outdoor units for a few years and love them. We recently purchased a new home with a large patio. I just start the patio shield up and enjoy my backyard! It's attractive and extremely efficient!

Mosquitos are our state bird!

We finally cam go outside again!! The Thermocells have been AMAZING!
We live in the southwest where mosquitos are abundant and dangerous. You walk outside and you are swarmed! Our pets suffer from heart worms from mosquito bites and people fear outbreaks of Zika virus and West Nile Virus.
The Thermocells have allowed us to go outside again! We are able to grill, swim in our pool and not cover ourselves with stinky dangerous sprays and we are not smelling the overpowering scent of citronella. Let's face it... citronella candles and torches only help a little bit. Plus, we don't carry them into the house on us, anymore.
I use two in my yard and they allow us use of our deck and pool. Where were these when we were in Boy Scouts?! They are easy to use, attractive and they WORK AMAZINGLY!
