Terrible product

I wish I would’ve read the reviews before I purchased this product. It worked once. Took it camping with us and could t get it to work again. We bought a bunch refills and can’t even use them now. 😣👎🏼
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So easy!

I just received it and it is so easy to set up, use, and it’s so portable, I’m going to use it for cooking out, backyard swimming and family time, and for sure bring it camping!

I love both patio shield Thermacell product, I have not been bit since I bought it, however the repellent pads do not last 4 hours. I get maybe an hour to an hour and a half out of them.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It promised 15ft repelled. it doesn’t repelled well when it is nighttime. It works well when it is afternoon and before.

Unbelievable how good it is!!

This works so well that I sit it on my covered fire pit, after a few minutes skeeters that are hiding under the edge of the pit start leaving. Never even land on me - they just leave!! If you don’t have one — buy two!!

Puchased this 3 days ago. Had a very hard time igniting. Changed the cartridge and still issues. Finally lit it, went out. On my 3rd attempt, it stayed lit for 30 min. Had to restart the whole process again. Total waste of money.

It Really Works!!!!!!

I am camping in a Provincial park in Canada for 5 months. I have allergies to scents and didn’t want to put nasty chemicals like deet on my skin,so I suffered the mosquitos from May to the 2nd week in June. The mosquitos became more ravenous and seemed to get bigger in size, so I not a got a Thermacell. I can now bbq, relax, eat and drink outside without constantly swatting the mosquitos. It starting working within 5 minutes of starting it and there was not one mosquito on my patio.
I love this thing and I tell everyone about it. In Northwestern Ontario, Canada our summers are short so thank you for making my time outside much more enjoyable.

Hard to light/won't stay lit

I bought this product to use on my patio. I thought it looked nice, pleasing color and shape, unobtrusive, and not messy. After unpacking, I read through the instructions and thought, seems easy to use. Screwed in the fuel canister, turned it on, clicked 3 times and nothing. I tried again, nothing. Turned it off, waited a bit then tried again. Clicked what seemed like forever and finally I saw a glow in the sight glass. After about 3 minutes I noticed there was no glow. Started over trying to get it to light. It finally did and we used it for 30 min or so. It did keep Mosquitos away for that time.
When we were done, I shut it off but didn't remove the fuel canister. A couple day later, I tried to light it again and couldn't get it to work. I checked and the fuel was empty.
I am very disappointed in this product and would not recommend it. My advice, get something that is rechargeable/battery operated.
