An attractive and effective insect repellant

This is the second Thermacell product I've purchased and both work wonderfully. When used as directed, insects simply vanish and the products are invisible to the user(s). No odor, no chemicals on your skin, no bother!

My wife purchased the unit for our motor home but I tried it on the back patio in the evenings when mosquitoes were quite active. It worked great!

Didn’t work

I bought this with extra pads and butane thinking yes finally mosquito free. We started it up 45 minutes before we got outside by my fire chat and within 10 minutes we both had gotten bit more than once. It is now cold so I don’t think I will have another’s chance to try it so I don’t know if I should keep it or return it. I want it so badly to work and my uncle has one and it works great
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was a little skeptical when I saw this product on the shelf. I read the box, decided to try it. I also bought a refill kit at the same time. My Patio Sheild sat on my patio waiting for its first run. Then Hurricane Florence struck NC. Life was put on hold for a couple of weeks, but not for the mosquitoes. It has become a plague of nearly Biblical proportions in NC. Well tonight I brought my Patio Sheild to my sons baseball practice under the lights. Not one bite and I’ve been here for about an hour. Others are spraying Deet like sunscreen on the beach. I got my Patio Sheild in the cup holder of my folding chair. I’m very impressed. The little bloodsuckers fly by but never land. Great job. Thanks for such a wonderful product. Never stop selling the refills.

I have had an awful time with mosquitos this summer. We have a new imported variety that has made being outside unbearable. This product works well. I can actually work in my patio without being chewed to a pulp.

I have been battling mosquito's all summer and a friend gave me the info for the patio shield...wow!! Now, it's a totally different world to me. No more bites! How did I ever live without this fantastic gizmo??
