My only reservation is the lack of top drawer dedicated to silverware. Very quite. I have to lean down to try and hear that the it's working.

A little over 3 years into our purchases and I am beyond frustrated with my three GE Cafe appliances. We have had issues with our induction double oven (fixed and under warranty), our microwave/hood handle's finish peeled off (not under warranty just after 3 years but, they replaced). This time it's our dishwasher. We always rinse dishes well before they go in and dishes almost always have some food remnants after running. I can live with that but, the main issue is that almost every few weeks we have an H20 message which means that there's gunk in the screen or in the drain. We check and clean the basket and there's minimal gunk which means that there's some sort of sensor issue. I wish I would of had GE out to repair this before my warranty expired. Things just aren't made well anymore-it's so sad that we live in such a disposable world.

Garbage dishwasher stopped after 2 years

No, nope NO. Cafe dishwashers are garbage. 2 years and out. Prior to this, I had a Maytag that had lasted 30’years. This piece of crap? Two years. GE is FRAUD. DO NOT buy!

Don’t be fooled by the beauty

Our 3rd dishwasher in 3 years because they all break. Don’t be fooled by the beauty. It’s a piece of crap. The top panel just stops working. Right now mine is broken with a puddle of stinky water in the bottom of it.

Great product

This is the second Cafe' dishwasher we had one in our previous house. After it was installed, I questioned why it wasn't running. The installer said it was. It is so quiet you don't know it's running. The Efficiency, Features, and performance are outstanding. We love all our Cafe' appliances.
I would recommend this to a friend!

BEWARE!

I purchased the Cafe dishwasher with the black matte finish and the front panel stained within one week of use. The marks look like water stains and appear milky white. I have no idea what product or products contributed but I see there are others online with similar complaints. Nothing seems to remove the staining and it is not covered by the warranty and it is deemed "cosmetic." I contend it is a manufacturing defect. I am no longer buying the Cafe refrigerator!!!! BEWARE!

We are very happy with our Cafe dishwasher because it is so quiet, and the rack features allow us to load more odd shape dishes and utensils. Our dishes more out more dryer than our old one.
