I really enjoyed putting this build together, the colors are gorgeous and I love the attention to detail. The clear legos are always fun to work with. I also think this is a great decor item for the office space. I'm a big outdoor hiker and this was perfect for my vibe.

What an amazing set! This is my favorite set that I've built in quite some time. If, like me, you enjoy display-only models, this one is highly recommended. It is very dynamic and has a presence when displayed that is much larger than its relatively small size. I hope Lego produces more sets like this!

Gorgeous representation of a gorgeous bird. The pose is very dynamic, it really looks like the kingfisher just caught a fish! Interesting built, easy and fun. Please Lego give us more sets like that featuring different birds!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven’t finished putting this together yet but it is going to be beautiful! There are so many peices but it is durable and functionable. This is such a versatile project it is great for children or adults! It is easy to carry around and is very portable if you want to build it on the go!

Fun and easy build. Looks great. Only minor nit pick is the dark blue bricks in the instructions are hard to see what piece is part of what. Blends together. Took me a little longer on build time because I kept messing up.

i absolutely love the way this looks once built, but the building was quite tedious at times. i would try to connect something and multiple pieces would disconnect or fall off - other times, the piece i would put on would just break apart and i’d struggle to fix it all. HOWEVER, it was absolutely worth it and again, looks absolutely beautiful and i adore it.
