Wrong Kingfisher Species

The species info is entirely wrong. The azure kingfisher is not the species that the kit is, nor is it the one in the photos. The kit and photos are common kingfishers. There is a huge ornithological difference. Doesn't make it any less fun, although both me and the person I got it for are huge ornithology nerds so it is pretty irritating to know they got the species so grossly incorrect.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Absolutely beautiful lego creation!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Such a cool and creative project! My daughter loved making it and didn’t want to go anywhere or do anything else until she finished. Lego always makes the coolest things. The instructions are so easy to follow and it looks just like expected, if not better.

The direction were easy to follow but I underestimated the simplicity of the color scheme and it got monotonous fast. The item itself is portable and easy to move once put together and can be displayed.

The whole time you are putting this together the rest of the pieces fall off. I’ve had to reassemble it numerous times and I’m not even done with it yet. The pieces don’t even stay connected. I will stick to the technics from now on cause this bird is a joke. Should be half price.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The building set has over 800 pieces and you can work on this safely anywhere. It’s quite portable once it’s put together. You can place it anywhere you like and the pieces are all durable, very high-quality and fit together seamlessly. This is a safe, well-made LEGO product that you will enjoy or your recipient will enjoy for many years.

Beautiful and fun

We ended up placing it on a display table because it looks very cool and beautiful at the same time. This is a great piece to buy for a gift for any Lego lovers!
