Great Detail and Great Price

The entire build process was very smooth, with some semi-interesting techniques mixed in.
The overall look of the model is great, especially with the details of the water being parted and the cattails being parted from the bird flying down. The bird itself is obviously great to look at, and the wings are phenomenal.
Overall, with the amount of pieces and the details that went into this build, I think the price goes very well with the finished product.

This Build Got Me Back Into LEGO

I was really into LEGO as a kid, it was all I would ask for on holidays. I'm in my 30s now and getting back into the hobby has been in the back of my mid for some time. When I saw this set I was immediately onboard, as it's a bit more "adult" than most of the others, and also a theme I really enjoy. Now that I've finished this build (which was great) I'm hooked again and will be getting many more sets in the 18+ category (because of the complexity).
This build is very well done, and captures a lot of motion, which is hard to do with LEGO. It looks even better in person.

Beautiful build but base doesn't stay together.

I love doing this build but the base rounded corners are falling off every time I tried to move it to add the other elements. Other than that it was fun and beautiful build.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Lego set is beautiful to look at but a bit boring to build. The direction were easy to follow but I underestimated the simplicity of the color scheme and it got monotonous fast. The item itself is portable and easy to move once put together and can be displayed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live on a river and we are so lucky to have the majestic Kingfisher live and fish on our river. In all honesty, I have never played with Legos but I just love this bird so much I knew I had to have this one. I do have arthritis in both of my hands, so I did have a little trouble with some of the small pieces, but I’m lucky to have helpful grandkids. I also learned about and used the Lego Builder app which I found very helpful. My Kingfisher turned into a beautiful piece of art that I proudly display. I want to try some of the Botanical kits next! I highly recommend the Lego kits to anyone. I received my Lego Kingfisher kit from Influencer and Lego in exchange for my honest review.

The clear piece was where a lot of the work came in for me and then the bird it self kept falling apart definitely would not build again but very pretty.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
