Much quieter than our old units, & more efficient!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our old Samsung units only gave us problems so we finally decided to upgrade to something that would hopefully last a long time. We can already see the difference. Our clothes are somehow cleaner and always come out dry! Not only that but we gained back space in our laundry room. Not even exaggerating, but I would walk into our laundry room just to look at them, I was so happy with our decision.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Me and my wife love the washer I like how it is stackable, and in my small, laundry room, I have more room I like the heavy duty feature on the dryer the dry boost heats up the clothes really quick to me when you’re in a hurry the washer also does a really good job on spitting the clothes out

After extensive research and weighing pros and cons, I discovered this gem on a holiday discount through my work. The sleek design not only fits our new home perfectly but also makes laundry a breeze with advanced features and smart technology. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice machine. Only complaint thus far - not easy to level. Good design. Using 90 degree dryer vent elbow, the machine has a very small installation footprint.

Worried what is next

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After 10 days with it not sure how i feel. Reviewers are saying how quiet it is but mine doesn't seem to be. Already have a tech coming to see why it is taking 2 hours to dry a load of clothes. We've had probably 8 repairs on our Samsungs this replaced in just over 4 years when the washer finally quit. Was hoping this would be different now worried what the tech will say. Seriously looking at returning it

Meet Walter Dwyer, my new Washer Dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This so beats the stackable W/D unit as all the controls are right in front of me instead of above my head and angled towards the ceiling.
I did a lot of research and comparison of W & D across their specs and their reviews. I read a lot about service, brand reputation for long term service and parts, and details about their bells and whistles. While I was very tempted by the WIFI enabled competition, I could just stick my head down my laundry shoot to know the laundry or dryer was complete in its cycle. The count down timer also helped me ball park how much more time was on the cycle (I didn't have that before). It was quieter than my previous W/D combo, but I could make out that drier was still on.
I compared the number of cycle options and the details of time in each phase for each cycle. At the end of the day, one really just uses a few cycles weekly and special cycles on occasion so this set was fine.
At the end of the day, it came down to parts and service. In N America, I've experienced problems waiting for parts to arrive from Asia; the dreaded "supply chain issues." Being made in Canada, this won't be as much of an issue. While I don't hope I need repair parts, seals and control panels will EVENTUALLY wear out, so I don't plan on being weeks without Walter Dwyer when that day comes.
All in all i'm VERY pleased with the performance and the purchase.
