I love my Electrolux front-load washer/dryer tower

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am just 5’2” tall and am unable to read or reach the dryer control panel of the stackable front-loading washer/dryer without a step stool…So when I found the Electrolux Premium washer/dryer (gas) with the controls for both the washer and dryer in the middle of the unit, I was ecstatic! All of the controls are are easy to read and understand and are within reach at waist level. I also love the fact that I can actually reach clothes at the back of the dryer drum, as this was not the case with my previous separately stacked dryer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only used the washer/dryer tower a couple of weeks. So far, they are pretty good and a space saver. I didnt give it 5 stars because I personally like to use a little powder detergent AND liquid detergent but with these i have to remove the liquid detergent component when using powder detergent. Therefore, wont be able to use a little of both to wash. Its one or the other. I have only ever had top load washers and this was not an issue so its something to get used to. Also, the whole compartment itself retains a lot of water so not drying it out after use can lead to mold. I think it requires more than just leaving the compartment door open. The washer door, I leave open to dry, but not the detergent/bleach/softener one. This one should be dried. Other than that, I am happy.
