It gets the job done, but has some quirks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This appliance is awesome, but you really have to watch out for a couple of items. First, reversing the doors is not as intuitive as the instructions make it out to be. The hinge bolts are hard to get into the opposite side given how tight everything is. You would need to either get an angled drill bit, or figure out how to take apart the door and put it back together once the hinge is bolted in, there is little to no gap between the door and the hinge. We needed to do this otherwise it would not fit in the tight space where our appliance hookup is. The installers did not do this and assumed the door to the room itself could not be closed, but when reversing the washer and dryer doors myself, this worked no problem.
On top of that, the dryer door had a sticker covering up one of the screws you need to take off in order to rotate the casing and ensure the proper side is facing down. Otherwise, you may mistake internal glass door screw for being one that covers the case.
If it weren't for these challenges, this would be a 5-star product no questions asked. Functionally, this thing is a beast. Clothes are nice and clean, the spin cycle is equivalent to that of a jet engine with how fast it goes. The perfect steam option is offered on both the washer and dryer, and even with a light plant-based detergent, it makes clothes smell great. This is also likely because the washer is designed in a way to pre-mix the detergent with the water before splashing the clothes. The 15 minute wash option is also great for when you're in a pinch. Note that sometimes smaller articles of clothing have a tendency to get stuck at the bottom of the washer door, so they may end up missing out on the spin cycle. Socks are notorious for having this happen.
A note about delicates: Using the delicates option, even with low spin, may not be suitable if your clothes are very delicate. Even with Low Spin speed, it will do short bursts at very high speeds. You may want to opt for the No Spin option to be safe.
Now for drying: Like any automatic sensor, it is not perfect, especially if you have larger loads. Now, with the Normal option along with setting the dry level to High, I have had much better luck in clothes being fully dry compared to other appliance makers. If you want to ensure perfection, I recommend using the Timed Dry option along with desired temperature. The lint catcher is also nice, being double sided. There are some smaller ridges that get lint stuck in them, but I have found the workaround of using the lint I collect to pick up the smaller pieces. Going for the Gas option for drying has been great in saving our energy costs. In addition, this is a very water/energy efficient appliance. On the Gas side, we have only used half our tier allotment. You also want to check with your water management district for rebates. In our case, we were able to get 500 back for this purchase, making this a no brainer.
I would like to get Total Appliance Protection with it, but the costs beyond one year are astronomical. The five year plan costs more than the appliance itself, which I am hoping is a glitch. Also, you need to check with Support as they may have your date of purchase wrong too. For support service of the appliance itself, they are quite helpful and responsive.
Overall, if this appliance holds steady, I will be very pleased with my first Electrolux purchase, and it certainly will not be my last.
