Product’s Lifespan is 2-3 years

I have purchased the expensive Sonicare toothbrush many times. It seems that this product has a 2-4 (4 years if your are lucky) year life expectancy because I find myself replacing it every few years. I don’t know why I keep buying this product even though it is ridiculously expensive with a short lifespan. Phillips will replace it if it’s within warranty period, but if you are out of warranty…good luck. The reality is that they need to figure out why this product breaks down at the 2-4 year mark.

Went bad in 1.5 years & Philips won't replace it

This is an expensive toothbrush that went bad after 1.5 years. Philips wouldn't replace it b/c this was a replacement to the previous sonicare I bought that also went bad early. My first couple sonicares lasted for years, but not anymore. Quality and reliability have gone down for Philips.

Toothbrush stopped working

It hasn’t even been two years and this toothbrush stopped working. The metal part is super loose and I tried to recharge and it just stopped working all together. Paid full price for this was very expensive. Do not purchase def not worth the price. Tried to go through warranty but they asked me to upload a receipt and I didn’t have a copy handy. Had photos and would have been happy to ship back a product that doesn’t work.

Broken in 10 months

This is my second sonicare toothbrush. I decided to upgrade and give my older model to my daughter, which worked great for years and still does. I've had this new one for 10 month's and the metal peg on which the brush head is seated has come loose and the toothbrush no longer functions properly. As a Dental Assistant I can no longer recommend this product and am deeply disappointed.

Mixed feelings...

I loved the toothbrush so much that I just bought another one because mine had a jiggly part that caused it to vibrate so loudly I was waking up the neighbors every morning. But now, I realize that there are many customers that had the very same issue. Make sure you register the toothbrush with Phillips and put a note on your calendar to check it out in about 23 months before the warranty expires. :)

This product sucks and so does their support

This is my second sonicare to stop working. There is soething fundamentally wrong with them and they have to be using super cheap components as they are breaking way too quickly. The cost relative to the reliability is as bad as any product I've ever used.
FIND OTHER BETTER OPTIONS.

Really disappointed life long customer

My previous Philips electric toothbrush lasted about 8 years…but this one is a nightmare, and I regret buying it. Same problems as everyone else here. Original HX992P lasted 8 months, replacement lasted 36 hrs. It seems like the motor is too strong for the other parts so everything falls apart
