Nice sleep tracker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Hubble Guardian+ is nice and easy to use. You get a wearable monitor that has an adjustable fabric strap to put around your baby’s ankle. There are extra straps in different sizes for the ankle monitor for when your baby grows. The monitor has a sensor and when you attach it, it will begin reading the heart rate, oxygen level, temperature and more that you can view on your smart phone. When it’s time to recharge the ankle monitor you just put it on top of the speaker which has a magnetic charging dock. The speaker/charger is also an audio monitor and a smart soother that you can stream audio books, lullabies and nature sounds. The speaker/charger also has a night light with 7 different colors to help sooth baby. It has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. I was a bit hesitant at first thinking that the ankle monitor may bother my baby but I don’t think she even noticed it which is good. I like that I can monitor my baby’s sleep quality and know that she is okay.

Piece of Mind

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't believe they actually came out with one of these monitors that you can purchase at the store. My oldest daughter had to have an Apnea monitor for the first year of life many years ogo. It did save her life a few times, but was very expensive to rent from the hospital. Even if your child hasn't been diagnosed with Apnea, just having this for the "sound" piece of mind is so well worth it. I can't tell you how happy we are to have this and not have that constant worry. I love that it just velcros right on your little one's foot and has extension Velcro. I recommend this for every household with a newborn.

Great idea, but not for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Adults have sleep trackers to see the quality of their sleep, so why not the little ones? In theory I loved this product. It tracks the baby's O2 levels, heart beat, sleep patterns, skin temperature, and a few other things. The app is also VERY easy to use to maneuver through. The app does a great job with keeping track of everything and allowing an interface that's easy to navigate to get the tracked information.
The base unit itself has a light that emits a slight glow in a small room. The base unit also emits various sleep sounds. Both the lights and sound can be increased or lowered as well as changed through both the unit and the app.
The wearable band is velcro so it's easy to attach to baby as well as remove. There are also additional straps in varying lengths based on the thickness of baby's leg.
At first I was very excited for this product. I wanted to track my new baby's sleep as well as be alerted to times where the baby may wake up or feel uncomfortable. In theory, this seemed great! In practice things feel short. The wearable's battery life was just over 24hrs. This meant the wearable was best placed on baby just before bed, where as we as adults tend to wear our wearables almost 24/7 if not actually 24/7. I do appreciate how quick the charging was though. But there was another problem. Unless I attached the wearable very tightly on baby, it would often spin around the baby's left resulting in no data being correctly received. This happened far too frequently and the only way I could get around it was to apply it in a tightened manner, which the instructions advised against.
But I will say that the nights where the wearable stayed in place, I did receive some good data. Speaking of data, the wearable needs to be considerably close to the base unit. Thankfully, this closeness is only necessary when the wearable is sending data to the base unit to be uploaded for the app.
In short, some parents may find this as a great addition to their routine. After just over a week of use, I found it to be more of a chore than asset.
