Griddle has been an addition to our family now for two years. No cons, all pro's here. Easily cleaned and finished. The grease drip tray design is superior to the other griddles. Heats perfectly working. This is in a covered, screened porch and taken care of with basic supplies. Would highly recommend.
Wiring behind the control knobs keeps melting making the lights not work. Also they are not posting my previous review. I am shocked they don't have more issues as this was not engineered right. And they dont seem to care.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi Jason, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on your Flatrock Flat Top Grill. I understand your concern about the wiring behind the control knobs and I appreciate you letting us know. Since this part was already replaced once and this is not something we see happening with other customers it may help to review the installation steps to ensure every connection is seated as intended. Correct placement of the wiring is essential for the lights to function as designed and even a small misalignment can affect performance. Our team can walk you through the process and confirm that everything is set up safely. For further assistance you can reach us at 1 800 TRAEGER. TRAEGER
This flattop grill is amazing. I’ve had it for about a month and have cooked on it about a dozen times. It’s got the right size for making lots of food at once, and love the multiple zones for cooking different items
I've had my Traeger grill for years without issue so I thought I'd jump into the griddle scene and get a Flatrock. I've had it for a little over a year and unfortunately the quality is quite lacking. Yes, the plastic in front of the griddle is cracking. Yes, the paint is cracking. What I didn't see coming was the actual griddle surface flaking off! Certainly don't want to have cast iron chips end up in my cook. I think you can find better griddles eslewhere.

Just bought the griddle. Nice finish; going to season it tonight. My complaint is the sticker on the cover is virtually impossible to get off. I had to use goof off and a scraper to remove it. It took better than 1/2 hour to remove. Need to figure another way to attach, or better yet, just leave it off.

Thank you for sharing your experience, Scott. It sounds like the adhesive used on the sticker created a surprising start, and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention. In some cases, the heat and material of the cover can cause the adhesive to bond more than expected, making removal difficult. We’re always working to improve the small details that make a big difference, and your feedback is helpful. If you'd like to talk this through further, please give us a call or chat with us at 1-800-TRAEGER.
This flat rock is great, holds temperature, and great cooking area to work on. Far better than the blackstone I had for years. Glad I bought it, always had a traeger grill and their products really are a step above.
Just bought this a couple months ago. So far, so good. Was a pain to put together, but, it’s a solid unit. Lights quickly and easily. Each zone heats quickly and settings are accurate. I’m still learning how to cook on it. I have no culinary skills to speak of, but, I’ve had friends and family ask me to make more smash burgers for them. Glad I bought this, and I’m having fun learning a new cooking skill.
