I didn't install a heatsink yet it is able to maintain cool temperatures even when running triple A games. Overall satisfied with its preformance and price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] U love these drives! Put inside an enclosire, I put all my digital media on them to have access on site for all clients. No downloads needed for the lack of internet or time constraints on site. You cannot have enough or large enough units
