I enjoyed the saw for a few weeks until recently it just gave out after 15 minutes of use. Seems the motor gets very hot
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great portable saw

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a nice 4” blade that cuts thin plywood pretty well. I do like that it has a straight edge jig attached to it to help make quick cut straight lines. It’s a great tool for quick cuts and getting a job done quickly. Battery is very nice as well and even has a usb port on it which I have never seen before on power tool batteries.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This thing is awesome. I had been looking at the Yellow and Black one for a very long time but I don't particularly like that brand so I was thrilled to see this one. It's really well balanced and easy to use. There's only so much you can say about a saw but it's great. If I had to come up with a criticism I'd say a little bit more power would be nice but it has ample power to do it's job and I'm still using the factory blade, I'm sure it would be better with an upgraded blade. Secondly I'm surprised on this one, Where's the belt hook? It needs one. If you are on the fence it's well worth the money and you'll be happy with it. It's nice not to have to pull the bigger ones out even if they are cordless too.

Not my best purchase

Cutting thru 2 1/2 in mahogany the saw stopped and heated up. I have tried cutting thru 1/4 in plywood with the same resultz

Good concept but flawed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This compact saw out of the box seems to be well made. It feels sturdy in the hands and at first cut very well. I like that it has a built in spot for the adjusting hex key. It's light enough to use all day without making my hands tired. The added charge port for a USB is also a nice touch. After a few weeks ide notice that the saw would stop spinning when it got to hot and it's pretty unfortunate.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
