I bought this specifically to assist in hanging a number of curtain rods in my home. In one room I had to hang rods in three separate windows in close proximity to each other and needed them to be aligned with each other. Instead of multiple trips up and down a ladder to measure, mark and align each rod I used my Self Leveling Green Cross Line Laser. I used the laser clamp to clamp my laser to a long piece of wood. I attached the wood to an old camera tripod. I turned on the self leveling laser and using the crank on my tripod I extended my laser to put the bright green leveling lines exactly where I wanted to mount my rods. Quick and easy!h

Easy to use and easy to see even at a distance. The projected registration marks are very helpful. Like all self leveling laser levels users need to treat it with care, but this is more rugged than others in this price class. Dampening on the free self leveling mode would be a great addition, but this tool has great value.

Great tool. Most useful on a large wall when you try to align all hangers and others that will be bolted to wall. Not only leveling but distance between object can be also accomplished.

Level was very useful while I installed new bathroom tiles. Easy to read and the lines were fairly fine. I found that they did get large (wide) at about 8 or 9 feet away from my wall which does reduce the accuracy somewhat. Had to use the clamp to mount it and found it was very jittery but got use to it and definitely helped keep all my lines perfect. This level was so much better than trying to use a conventional level. Definitely recommend adding it to your tool inventory.

Great tool, clamp a bit weak

I have had this laser for a few months now.
Works like you would expect, but the supplied clamp isn’t very strong. I ended up glueing rubber on it to grip better.
