Love the size and weight, but it would be easier to use if the power switch was a push button toggle forward/reverse instead of trying to turn that ring right or left. I have weak hands, so the next size up with the trigger feature is too heavy, and this one is hard to hold and turn the ring at the same time. I'd rather have another button like the "live wire" button for the power too!
I prefer a manual screwdriver after trying this. The motorized turn is not that strong and sometimes you need a bit of force to get through a turn. There is some give with this when using it without the motorized function. The current tester is a nice add-on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for your feedback, drkp89! We’re sorry to hear the motorized turn on our SD561201 didn’t meet your expectations. Your comments on the turn and strength are valuable, and we’ll share them with our team for review! We're glad you found the current tester helpful. Thank you for sharing your experience!
I’m at a point in my life (widow, 73yo) where I didn’t really have the need to replace my cordless drill (whose battery pack was no longer available) but found that always relying on a manual screwdriver was annoying and, sometimes, difficult. This was recommended by a (male) friend who uses this in addition to his drill. I got the one with the multiple/extra bits and have immediately had reason to appreciate the less common bits as well as the integrated light, particularly when removing light fixtures for painting and changing out smoke alarms (with power and lights off) as well as that stubborn too-tightly-screwed-in armoire latch that has needed to be moved forward for years!
