The screwdriver just quit working/turning after a few weeks. Didn't even use it much. It's fully charged, the LED lights are on, but there's no power or spin. Disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very convenient and light weight. I find it’s great for times when you don’t need a lot of torque, there is limited space or there are many screws. It reduces fatigue and makes the job quicker.
Had one that I used sparingly 2-3 times a week and after 2 years it died. Just bought another one so hopefully this one last a little longer.

The perfect kitchen drawer screwdriver! I have lots of tools, but this one is the handiest of all. So many times I just need to grab a screwdriver for a quick repair of some kind, bingo! Open the kitchen drawer and grab this and go to work. Pretty impressive torque for its size, and while it won’t wrestle out big wood or metal screws, a brief twist in the off position will do the job and then you can use power from there. Absolutely love it!
I mainly use this for wrenching on RC cars. It’s quite easy to operate with one hand. The locking bit holder is mandatory and becoming harder to find on electric screwdrivers, kudos to Skil for keeping it on this unit. It has plenty of torque, enough to twist it out of your hand if you’re not holding it with a firm grip. The battery last a long time and it spins at a lower rpm which helps keep the plastic from stripping out. It’s priced low enough to justify having multiples if you don’t want to switch out bits.
This screwdriver isn’t for installing deck screws, drilling into thick material or any task that requires a tool with some stones, I have a pile of 20v DeWalt tools for more intensive work.
I don't care for the way it takes to turn on the screwdriver
