The tool has good power, a nice weight, and is easy to hold. I especially like the collet to hold the bit. The work light is a bit too bright for me - others may like it. The "live circuit" indicator is nice, but probably not something I would use very often. The only drawback for me is the forward/reverse switch. You need to fully remove your thumb from the grip to operate the switch, so you must resist the full torque of the device using only your fingers on the grip. I would prefer a switch that could be operated with your thumb engaged on the grip for a firmer hold. I suppose you could use your other hand to operate the switch, but typically your other hand is holding the screw, nut or workpiece.
My intended application is primarily electrical work like adding and replacing switches, receptacles and that kind of thing. I've only used this on one project so far. The screwdriver worked fine. The voltage sensor helped me diagnose a problem with the transformer for a led strip lighting setup. It's nice that the lights stay on to help find the screw in low light situations. The ones I've had before only stayed on when the screwdriver was screwing. So far, so good.
Like this when installing switches receptacles and cover plates on numerous electric boxes, because of the low torque setting to keep from breaking anything works well and lets you know if there is electric on.
Very small and lightweight, but powerful. Love to use this where I would normally use a screwdriver for smaller jobs. Doesn't replace my larger drill/driver, but is a nice complement to that driver.
