Got this due to osteoarthritis issues in my hands, it allows me to continue working on bikes at the local co-op. Still need to do the initial loosening with an allen wrench, and the final set with a torque wrench, but it manages everything in between quite well!
As an electric screwdriver is great, light, easy change of direction without changing your grip, good battery life, and rechargeable via USB. The circuit sensor (which I don't really care about) not so good. Worked for a day only. I don't see the need to include this feature. Will be better for Skil to remove this sensor and drop a couple of dollars from the price.
So far I have really enjoyed the convenience of this screwdriver. The kit that came with it is also great. I have everything I need right in one small box that I can put in my DIY bag I use around the house for different chores. I really like the light that comes on to see in dark spaces. It does take a bit of getting used to having a dial instead of a trigger to use the screwdriver. I haven't used the circuit gage yet, but I think it will come in handy when I do have a need for it.
I've always been a bit skeptical about these screw drivers having much power. I feel that this has enough torque to do most jobs or at least get things snugged down enough. I would buy this again.
