Great product, but be sure to use correctly. This is a superior cordless drill and good driver. But it must not be used as driver with the drill setting. The clutch needs torque relief that comes with the unit by adjusting the collar to a numeric setting that allows the unit to slip once the torque setting is reached. I [now] also have a PWR Core-20 driver that works same way, and frankly, is better for screw applications by having more torque. I wore out the clutch on my drill driver in a day while assembling a fence. Skil faithfully honored its product warranty and sent me a new drill driver. Very happy with this product, and even happier that Skil stands behind its products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, what a great tool for it's size! The quality of this drill is super. It has great power to handle most of your projects. Compared to my other BIG name brand drills, this guy holds it's own. The battery last a good amount of time. Charging is quick and easy! One thing that I would have liked it to come with is a case to carry it! Other than that, I would HIGHLY recommend this drill. Not only does it work just as good as the BIG names, it cost a LOT LESS!!

Skil makes a great product here , it charges fast and the charge last a good deal of time. I have plenty of power in this drill to do any job around here. Easy to use.

Powerful Drill/Driver

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to get a chance to use this drill/driver. I had been using a rather generic big box store cordless drill for a few years and did not know what I had been missing. The quality on this Skil is much greater. The included battery/charger charges quickly and once you start drilling, you can feel the power. I like how the drill part does not stick out as far as most other drills as it allows you to get into tighter spaces. It comes with one bit that has two phillips-heads that you can store in the back of the drill. It would have been nice if it came with a carrying case, but I knew that it would not. The bits are easy to get in and out and the light works very well. I cannot really think of anything bad to say. I highly recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The PWR CORE 20™ Brushless 20V 1/2 IN. Compact Drill Driver Kit is a great drill to have handy. For its size, it’s really powerful. The drill’s digital brushless motor delivers up to 450 inch-pounds of torque in every drive, and its variable-speed trigger and 17 torque settings plus drill mode provide a lot of control. I love how quick and easy it is to change bits. A great feature I’ve never had on any other drill before is the LED work light. I can light up my workspace for up to 10 minutes with the LED work light with pre-light and after-glow. I already have used this drill for a variety of projects because it works on a wide range of surfaces. I like it being cordless as well. It really lets you take it on the go, and the battery is good lasting.

Great Drill – Powerful, Compact, Quick Charge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great drill – powerful, compact, quick charge. I really like this SKIL drill/driver. It has plenty of power to get the job done, while maintaining a small profile that fits into tight spaces where other drills can’t go. The battery charges quickly and can be topped off in 5 minutes. The battery even has a port to charge mobile devices via USB. It can accept bits up to ½” and uses a convenient keyless chuck. The sleeve seems to be plastic but has held up well. 17 torque adjustments and an LED work light make you’re always delivering the correct amount of power to the right spot. It would be nice if it came with a carrying case or bag but the drill itself is excellent.

Perfect for any project

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm already a big fan of the SKIL brand and very excited to add this Cordless Drill/Driver to my workshop for my light and heavy duty jobs/projects. The battery charges quicky and last a very long time. It operates very smoothly and pretty quiet. I hung quite a lot of shelves and a few other projects on one charge. Its lightweight and easy to handle. You'll get the Cordless Drill, Lithium battery and charger. I'm very happy with this drill and it would also make a great gift!
