I've used tire-shine in the past and never been impressed. Usually it just seems to leave a slick, oily like coating on my tires that fades quickly. One time I even managed to get some on the tread, causing my tire to slip like I was driving over a patch of ice, not good! Tire Kicker, however, Is the real deal. My tires are left looking new, not glossy or oily, but fresh and like new. The coating lasts at least a week or two before it starts fading. I usually wash my car and reapply a light coating every other week. The best part of Tire Kicker is its ability to be used on black plastic/vinyl trim. I use it on the trim around my bumpers to really make everything pop once it's been waxed. The little details make all the difference, and a product that can tackle two tasks for the price of one is a no-brainer in my book. Give it a shot, you won't be disappointed!

Love this on trim and actually use it on interior. On tires it took two coats to get them glossy but man do they look great. Highly recommend this product

Looks great and stays on the tires. Easy to apply and long lasting. I used a round car dressing applicator and just a bit of the product here and there on the tire and then spread around with the applicator. I did two coats to get the level of shine I wanted but its well worth the minimal effort.

So the actual chemical in this product is great, really glossy. The only problem I had was the the factory sealed nozzle was broke and after I took the wrapper off it wouldn't stop leaking (even when it was standing upright on the shelf). I had to find another spray bottle to put it in.
