[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great viewing angle. Bezel is thin but the black band on the screen surface makes it slightly larger when on. Not very hot and has excellent refresh rate and pixel density.

Needs better power supplies

I had owned the g55a and the g55c, the a lasted me a little over a year before the power supply went, and the replacement was 200 dollars. The c went in less than a week. 2 stars cause the picture quality was good.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So far ao good! All the games ive played with it have looked amazing. This is my first monitor and im very impressed already. I have always played on big screen TVs.

Amazing monitor

Primarily I use it for looking up game information, watching videos while playing games, etc. Really more the work horse and this monitor far exceeds my expectations . With the super high refresh rate it would also make an excellent primary screen.
One additional point, the versatility of this model makes it perfect for entertainment as well. Being able to access multiple formats for viewing is very useful. If i want a tv show or news channel active it's a button away. Youtube, prime video, etc, all with easy acess.

Excellent Gaming/Productivity Monitor

Connectivity options, features are all excellent! Would love an input button on remote to cycle quickly instead of the smart interface but that's a minor quibble for all else it does so well!

Buyer Beware

This monitor is phenomenal when working correctly. Unfortunately, the screen randomly stops working. This is the second time this has occured and I have already sent it in to be serviced once. I have been a gamer for a couple of decades and this is the only monitor I have experienced this issue with. Sad day :(
