Basic but important features missing from phone

My whole family got new 2024 Samsung phones, including the S and the Ultra. We've had these phones for six months, and FOR ALL 2024 SAMSUNG PHONES there is NO TALK-TO-TEXT FEATURE, and I also don't have to get notifications unless I go looking for them. NO LOCK SCREEN OR BADGE NOTIFICATIONS. I hate this!! I have been telling Samsung for six months with no fix. Because of this, I miss important and time-sensitive information. If I had known this, I would have gotten another phone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on our products for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, linked below. Bixby gives you control over various functions and native services of your Galaxy, so that you can now enjoy Galaxy's diverse features in an intuitive and convenient way. You can say, "Hi Bixby, text Matt dinner will be late tonight." Rest assured that Bixby will send your message to your recipient as intended. You can prioritize and streamline app alerts by changing which apps send notifications and how notifications alert you. From Settings, tap Notifications > App notifications, and then tap to enable notifications for individual apps. You can also choose how to sort your notifications. From Settings, tap Notifications > Sort notifications, and then choose to sort by priority or time. Or choose which notifications are allowed on the Lock screen. From Settings, tap Notifications > Lock screen notifications, and then tap to enable the feature. Tap an option to customize: * Show content: Show notifications in the Notification panel.

I loved samsung phones for years, buy the S24 is more of love/hate relationship (more hate than love). It’s battery last longer than my old S10E, but it was 5 years old. My s24 is faster, though, it’s new. But that is it for me. I am not a camera junkie, I just want a high end phone to game, be productive and be hassle free. Hassle free, is where I am now, because of all the headaches. I am not happy and considering I bought it out right, makes me more angry. Randomly, my Bluetooth device disconnect, and don’t want to reconnect. Sometimes I have to remove it from the device, and reconnect it, just to get my accessories to work, until they don’t and the battle begins again. The apps don’t work right. My nova launcher crashes and constantly have to fight with it. It updated once and all my finical apps would only work on wifi. I had to redo my network settings, took hours to fix. It’s just my luck to be a supporter of a brand, and to see the stuff they put out, at high prices, I had to convince myself this was a good purchase, but it is not. Stick with a brand that is not samsung, one where you can use an sd card, one that will work, all the time. Oh and I am not resetting my phone, I will buy a new phone before I do that headache of restoring all my stuff, and ehen I do get a new phone it will not be a samsung.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

There might be several reasons why your Bluetooth is disconnecting. It could be that the device has a low battery, was moved too far away from the Galaxy device, or the Bluetooth function was accidentally turned off. Another thing that could help with everything would be to ensure that your device is running under the current software update. Also, keep in mind that we do offer a 12-month manufacture defect warranty through our Samsung Care program.
