How to improve perfection

I have been a fan of my 3 in 1 for over 3 years.2 weeks ago I broke the metal shrub guard. Not that I couldn’t use the “magic”yard tool, I decided to buy another 3 in 1 but alas the model was now discontinued.
A special deal on the all new 3 in 1 with added features was too much to refuse. Oh my, what a surprise. Longer battery life with usage indicator,longer shaft for easier use and button wire feed.
WORX you have achieved the impossible again,proving it’s possible to go one better than perfect.

Light, durable and tough

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used edger about 12 times since purchase with good results. Seems very efficient and can handle pretty heavy grass and edge lawns in a clean cut fashion.

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a small yard so it worked ok, wouldn’t buy it if you’re having to do a lot of edging because of the fact I had to use it completely upright or the string wouldn’t reach to edge between cement and grass. It’s lightweight and great not having to mess with electrical cord

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just received my 20 volt trimmer/edger, I’m just blown away by the the light weight power packed edger. I was able to edge our property in half the time I’m used to when using my heavy bulky gas powered blade edger.
I’m planning on ordering one for my father for his birthday. I know he will love it as much as I do!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this a couple weeks ago so far it seems to be holding up good. I like the 20V batteries although they don't last as long i thought they would. The edger part of the Works GT is great, really like that part. String is ok though i seem to go through alot for some reason. I have an average size home and lot and i can cover all the places i need to with it were i couldn't with my old trimmer. The one thing i have trouble with and may have to have repaired is when i use it in the"mower" position the swivel head won't stay locked and the guard digs into the soil and it stops me unexpectedly. Maybe the engineers can work on the pointy end of the guard on the next model.Overall i say a really good trimmer/edger and worth the money.

Portable but Lacks Power

I purchase this because i did not want to buy a huge lawn mower just to trim a small patch of grass for my front lawn it's about 15'x6'.
Initially it did really well just trimming a little off the top, but if you try to cut the thicker stuff when you get closer to the bottom of the grass there is just not enough power. The trimmer just starts whipping grass around slowing it down to the point where it just doesn't really trim anything at all.
I would have trim the grass in steps, trim 1/2 then another 1/2 then the final cut so i don't slow down the motor, by doing this i go through 2 batteries for just a small portion of grass, and a lot of wasted time.
The balance of this product seems to be off, like the fore grip handle is too close to the aft handle, so it feels like you are supporting the weight of the motor unit all the time. I might not have set it up correct for balance but i think the fore handle needs to be adjustable as to how far you want it on the shaft not just the angle.
It's a good product for very small jobs but when it comes down to getting the job done in a timely manner, go get your self something with a lot more power so you can just trim it once and save time.
