Does not do the job.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a Worx Edger/Weed Eater WG!&)-3 on line with a promo for "free line spools for life". I opted for the 4.0 battery for longer life and more power.
The unit is very light but a bit flimsy.
The main trouble I have is that the line does not feed well or, at times, at all. The line is very weak and wears rapidly. The line on four out of 6 spools tried to date break in the spools and I need to stop, remove and dig out line to begin again, and again, and again, and I finally quit and grabbed my big ole gas 4-cycle and finished the job. I have some same-size line in my garage and wound an empty spool with this line and it performed much better all the way around. But, this is not what I bought!
I am in the market for a battery leaf blower and wanted to get a Worx to use the same batteries. After trying my Worx unit again and again with the same results, I have ruled out purchasing a Worx product for anything else and will probably try to dump the one I have at a garage sale....or maybe guilt will tell be to just trash it?

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us as it helps us improve. When initially switching on the trimmer, a small length of line is fed out. Each time the tool is started from rest it will advance about 0.25 inches of trimmer line. A ‘clattering’ noise will be heard when the lines hit the Line Cutter. Please don't be alarmed, this is quite normal. After about 5 seconds the line will be cut to the correct length and the noise will reduce as the motor gains full speed. If the noise of the line being cut can’t be heard, more line will need to be fed out. To feed more line, it is first necessary to allow the trimmer to stop completely; it must come to a complete rest, then restart, allowing the motor to reach full speed. Repeat above until you hear the line hitting against the Line Cutter.
If required, line can be fed out manually. To operate, press and release manual Line Feed Button (refer to the trimmer diagram in the owner’s manual), while gently pulling out the line until it is long enough to reach the Line Cutter. If the line extends past the Line Cutter, too much line has been fed out. If too much line is fed out, remove the Spool Cap and turn Spool counter-clockwise until the line is at the desired length.
Also, please make sure the guard is on the trimmer, as it has a blade that cuts the line to length. Check the spring under where the spool goes. If it is gone, this could happen. Great Cordless Blower!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so impressed by the quality & performance of my cordless Worx string trimmer that when I needed a blower I thought of Worx tools first. I highly recommend it to anyone that needs the convenience of a cordless blower but doesn't want the weight of a gas powered unit. Although I've only had the blower about a week it's made my yard cleanup easier & faster!
